LCSG London Contracts and Supplies Group

BiP Solutions host and manage the The London Contracts and Supplies Group website on their behalf. The site provides access to contact databases, archived and live contract information, key public sector news and reports, online discussion forums and supplier lists and contact details. The site aims to encourage knowledge transfer and facilitate networking between members, thus meeting the society's objectives of promoting the development of strategic procurement.

 
  • The London Contracts and Supplies Group (LCSG) aims to continuously review the relative roles, plans and performance of the London Boroughs, in the fields of purchasing and supply and seeks to formulate policy for Greater London as a whole. LCSG also seeks to determine fields and targets for further joint action on purchasing standardisation and cost reduction, and to monitor progress towards the targets.
  • The LCSG website is utilised by more than 300 LCSG members, and contains daily reports and publications on current issues, promoting Best Practice and a membership discussion forum
  • LCSG are affiliated to SOPO (Society of Procurement Officers in Local Government) and are currently working with the Improvement Development Agency (IDeA) to improve the procurement process amongst and between the Group's members.
  • The site receives over 13,000 hits per month.
